This book will serve as a small guide to getting the most out of Uppitywis.org.  It will go through many of the features of the web site, and how you can get the most out of it. As time goes on this will expand, and you will be able to learn more.  Follow along through the different pages, and you'll learn about how to use the site.

simplifying "Comments"

Steve

To read Comments, one clicks on a link that offers to take you to Comments, but all you seem to get is the opportunity to write a comment, not read previous comments. But on *careful* examination you can find the link that takes you to a previous comment. Why require the extra step? I would actually prefer comments from folks who come to a site less than clever or savvy from a technical perspective.

Some changes to comments display

I've made some changes this morning to the way that comments are displayed.  The comments were collapsed before, and now they're expanded (well, at least for blog entries).  This will make them a little more obvious.  See what you think.  You can also change the way that comments are displayed for YOU by editing them in your account profile (assuming of course that you log in to the site).
