Winona LaDuke spoke last night at UW-Stout in Menomonie. I was privileged to hear her speak about sustainability, food, the experience of being a female Native American, and much more. She in particular discussed the work she is doing in Minnesota raising native food crops on Native American land. I recorded the talk (though on my cell phone so the audio quality may be patchy). Her talk was interesting, funny, and pointed, particularly about how we are all managing to fool ourselves on the issue of climate change. We would like to thank Winona LaDuke for permission to publish this audio.
